Default need help! doing ap2 transplant into ap1

i'm looking onto purchasing an f22 engine but it doesn't come with any wire harness nor headers+A pipe. i was wondering if i was able to plug and play my old ap1 wire harness onto an ap2 engine? and also will my stock ap1 headers + A pipe bolt onto an ap2. and also will an ap1 ecu work for an ap2 motor? thanks

The header will fit.

Get the AP2 ECU since it's tuned to run the different redline, VTEC crossover, etc.

It is the wrong section. But if you swap your intake manifold and valve cover from the ap1 then everything else is exactly the same. There are pros and cons to the ecu thing. But i did this in one of my friends cars two years ago. He has been running his out to 9k every day since and has had no problems.

i did the swap. all i used was the f22 longblock and an ap2 ecu. the only problem you will have is the need to get the ecu programmed for you key, because they need to match for the engine to start.

to get around this problem i used the ap2 key, steering column, and all the locks off of the car. you may not be so lucky to be able to purchase all of this off the same car but pm me and ill get you a guys email addy to contact.
