Have you tried a new valve cover gasket yet?

I ordered it from Jeff (Hardtopguy) yesterday, he said it was in stock and would ship out. So waiting impatiently.

Does anybody have a real picture of the gears lined up?

I'll go out on a limb here, I don't think the gaskets are going to fix it. You have already eliminated a list of things that could be the problem.
1. cam timing
2. PCM
3. Bad TDC1 sensor
4. Damaged reluctor wheel
Other possibilities are: Bad CKP sensor, or a wiring problem that makes itself known when the revs get above 6700. If you where a little bit closer I would love to put my hands on the car and get this fixed.

Dan,

If I knew you needed the Valve Cover Gaskets as well... I could've gave you my set that I'm saving for my buildup And you could've sent the one you're waiting for back to me

Let me know if you want them... but I think you might get the other set before mine.

Dan: Only idea I have it maybe the engine to body ground. If the sensor checks ok and the ecu is ok, the ground strap could be loose or have corrosion causing problem at the higher resistance. An easy check is run a jumper from the engine to the body or neg terminal.
