Yeah we are following the spec I forget the sequence of the top of my head but it's the middle 3 first and then the outside 2. I just sent a PM to Hardtopguy to see if he can get me the gaskets.

On second thought, I am not certain if the spark plug gaskets do actually support the valve cover. It may just be the 1 main gasket that supports it.

No, we've tried with both the mugen and stock ecu and the error code comes up. In fact the stock ecu is in the car now.

Going out on a limb here - Is it possible that when you had the cams a notch off (when you were testing going one notch in each direction), that when you tried to start it up you bent a valve so slightly that it only see's it at high rpm? Im sure that would throw a different code though.

I know people have been saying timing the whole time and that is what it sounds like to me too. I think you definatly should take the cams out and start over like you said you are going to. Obviously put the crank at TDC and both cams at TDC adjust the valves (again), Check the tensioner (is there a timing chain tensioner??), reset the ecu, and hold your breath

Sorry, not trying to sound like an ass but people aren't reading. We've taken the cams, plates, and gears out already and reset to factory specs. The only option left is to try the stock cams. If that doesn't work, I have to swap the stock head back in. Which means major headaches for me.

The car will run very poorly or not run at all if the cams were not installed properly.....

Agree, we've already tried to change the cam gears one notch in either direction the car wouldn't even start. The car runs absolutely fine until 6700rpms. After that CEL.

I just didn't sound like you had taken the cams all the way out and started over from there. It sounded to me like you were just messing around with them when they were in there. Sorry man...
