Default Need help diagnosing a drivetrain "GROAN"

I've got a vibration that happens only under one condition; when the car is stopped with the wheels turned hard left or right and I accellerate somewhat quickly. There is a "groan" under and behind the passenger seat/center of car (its hard to tell where exactly) until the wheels are turned towards center. It also seems to be worse after driving for some period of time.

I thought at first it might be the LSD but tested it and it seems fine. Are these the symptoms of a bad diff mount or CV joint?

Any other suggestions?

Mine had that condition. When making U turns, hard left or right my rear diff would groan and moan. I since changed the rear diff fluid to Amsoil Synthetic 75W90 and the noise is gone. My rear diff is quiet as can be.

BTW...making hard turns under engine load(quick acceleration) is very hard on your LSD. I suggest you accelerate not as hard.

Good Luck

I guess I was a little misleading on the accelleration thing. It happens with normal accelleration like doing U turns or when parking.

The diff fluid has only 5k miles on it. I'll change it again and see what happens.
