Default Need help with CEL codes

I have a 2001 AP1, just intake and exhaust. I have a few CEL codes that I need some help with, and diagnosing what the problem is. The codes are P0301 and P0302 for misfiring in cylinders 1 and 2. Also a code will come up for a random misfire. Those are the only codes I have

I can't figure out the problem. When I first start the car cold it will idle and run great but the CEL light will be there. I won't notice a misfire until even after the engine has gotten to operating temperature. I can be driving around for about 30 minutes before it will miss at all. If I shut the engine off and let it cool down I can drive around for awhile and it will run good for awhile. After the missing does start the CEL light will flash.

I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before. I don't believe the valves need to be adjusted because the miss doesn't happen when the car is cold.

Any input would be great, thanks a lot for reading.

ive got the same problem. havent figured it out yet. Changed coilpacks, injectors, valve adjustment, map sensor (also map whack)...let me know when you figure it out.
It may be another sensor then. I don't want to go through all the work like you have and get no where. I'll check the injectors for impedance first.

I'm really surprised it wasn't your injectors. MONEYPIT were there any other symptoms?

I don't see how it could be the wiring. It only missing once the engine is heated up or fuel is being dumped in.

I dont believe the seconday air pump could throw a misfire code on an S2000. It pumps air after the combustion chamber. I'd love to see where you read that. That is not your problem.

Have you replaced the spark plugs (checked for proper gap)? I would imagine you have since you have done all the other usual suspects already, but you did not mention it here.....

Maybe a dumb question but I'm in this guys boat. I have a similar post open and I don't intend to hijack yourt thread. Just some input.
I had oem ngk platinum injectors installed. A local mechanic did all the work and he had never worked on a S2000 before.

Do the oem NGK's need to be regapped upon installation? If so, I have no idea what they are gapped at currently but it semi fixed my problem. My car idles fine and revs fine. Big issue is when I put a load on the motor. Some slight hesitation and bogging. Lotsa bogging after 50% throttle. Can't go past that nor do I want to but I don't have a CEL coming back after they were cleared.
Hope yours goes well.
