Is it a new Honda MAP sensor?

I wonder if you wacked it too hard and broke the new one.

You need a MAP sensor, or you have a MAP wiring issue. Acording to the book, you need a MAP sensor. The book is not perfect, but it is saying more or less that the ECU wont cause that code.

so i returned the autozone map sensor and put the old 1 back in, in the mean time (new 1 on its way). the car ran the same as if the autozone map was in there... no difference.. at alll.

No CEL but theres a p1129 pending..

Idles perfect. range from 1000-1100 rpm. no jumpy rpm no sticking rpm.

i am going to go record a video of my take off problem in a minute.

look at 1st like 15 seconds and then skip to 50 seconds in. those 2 parts really describe what i am talking about.. and still no CEL just pending p1129 code.

so i got a voltmeter and tested the map wire. i've read on ehow that close to 5 is good. there are 3 wires. green/red, green/white, and yellow/red. the volts are 4.79,.005,4.99 respectively. ( this is with the ignition on cars off.) i've tried all 3 wires because i didn't know which 1 goes to ecu. this is with the wire unplugged from map sensor.

this means my voltage to the map is fine right? so the only solution is that the mapsensor is bad? any idea?
