Default Need help or advice 02 s2000 cranks but won't start

Ok guys I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if I'm not a s2000 guru. I have a 2002 s2000 with 129,000 miles on it. There is a new motor in it with only around 20,000 miles on it though, this motor has cams ( not sure what kind ) and a lot of other internal motor work. The car was set up for a 100 shot of nitrous. I bought this car about 6 months ago.

I'm having a no start issue, the car cranks but won't start. I have checked fuel, and spark and I am getting both. I was wondering if y'all could possibly help me with some other things to check.

I think so.. I mean my key was working before the car broke down. I'm not exactly sure how to check that though.

Check the ignition fuse, then look into checking the crank position sensor...sometimes it will turn over but not start if the sensor is bad

Are you getting a green key on the cluster when you turn on the key? It should turn on then off, sounds like it could be an immobilizer issue, although the immobilizer would cut fuel so...hmm.

I will check for the green light as well. The guy I got the car from had it sitting up for awhile and it had something chew up some wires coming off the master cylinder and in the main harness underneath but all I did was splice them back together and wrap it all back up in electrical tape
