Default need help!

OK long story short i got pulled over and now i have to go to the state referee. Im putting most of my stock parts back on. I have a couple questions:
If I throw up a CEL will I not pass w/ the state referee?
Would an s2000 w/ a tuned VAFC throw up a CEL?
Would an s2000 w/ a tuned VAFC not pass smog?
If i clear the codes will the computer at the state Referee still pick up the CEL? Does anybody know if the AEM V2 Intake for the s2k is CARB legal?
What is my fine if I fail the test at the State Referee because of the CEL?

Im not to sure about the other stuff, but here in ohio and most other states, if you have a CEL while at testing, they will not test the car.

O, and about the tuned vafc, you should be fine with that, the vafc does not add more fuel to the car, just leans it up a bit.

go to aem's website and printout the CARB legal documentation for the v1, it doesnt say anything about v1 or v2, it jus lists the codes that it passes in california, the s2000 part # (which isn't listed on the intake that i've seen).. bring that paper with you..

No I mean...which CEL is it...it could be important....my guess is 02 issues(i.e. no cat) replacing the cat and resetting the ECU should solve the problem...
