Default Need Help

So I was driving my s2000 and I shift from 3rd to 4th at about 6k rpm and then the car kinda felt like it got clogged for a second when I was pressing on the gas but then it went away. Once I came to a red light the engine shut off and when I tried to turn it on it struggled for a min. Now sometimes when I’m at a stop sign or red light the engine turns off or the rpm’s get really low to where it feels like it’s about to turn off. Can some on help me please.

Year? I'd suspect IACV and MAP sensors first. Any codes available?

Probably start with the simple stuff first, like cleaning the IACV (idle air control valve), then performing an idle relearn procedure.

Also, aren't you supposed to drive the car at a steady freeway speed for 45-60 minutes?

Thanks!

Like bad_driver asked, "no CEL codes?" Do you have a reader to check it out?

Default Update

I cleaned the iacv and did an idle relearn procedure and the car was running good but then today I got a CEL for the throttle position sensor. So I guess I’ll be replacing that

Probably clean the TPS & throw it back on before you replace it to see if it fixes.
