is this the same procedure for a 2007? I have gas that’s been sitting for 4 years (I know, it’s my bad). I want to drain it out. I tried running a 1/4” tube down into the gas tank but the just sucking the fumes from siphoning was enough for me to look at an alternate.

07 has returnless system easier to drain.

I wouldn't be concerned with fuel 2 years old, yeah it's not fresh but it won't harm much, just burn it off as fast as you can. The fuel sitting in the injectors will be the worst of it, so draining the fuel tank won't help the injectors now. I would burn it off as fast as you can then run a good fuel injector cleaner such as Redline Fuel System cleaner with a fresh batch of Shell V-power.
