Need De-pinning help
So the connector to my roof broke off when I was putting on my ap2 console. I managed to get a new connector which still has the wires in it. How can I get them out? I've never done this before. I am not sure if the pin should go ontop or below the metal piece. Maybe the device I am using is incorrect? I was told a sewing pin works just fine. I'm sure it's easy to many but I don't want to break another connector.
Also, I'm guessing it's a lot easier to put the wires in then it is to take them out. Are there any tricks to inserting the wires into the connector or does it just "lock" into place? Thanks again guys...I want to get my top up before it rains tonight!

the pin you're using is fine, but you have it in the wrong slot
the TOP ones that are arowed, with the pin you got, push DOWN!!! of course try to simultaneously pull the wire out as you're doing this. you only got 3 wires from what I see..
The BOTTOM ones that are arrowed, with the pin you got, push UP!!!! from that picture you only got 2
let us know if you get it!!
Oh and yea the new wires just lock into place. look at how the current ones are and the new one put it in the same way and it'll lock!!
