Need answers on MAP Sensor
Could someone please tell me what some of the symptoms of a bad MAP Sensor are, other than a CEL?
I am having a major problem with MY01 running very rich. very rough and at an extremely low idle.
The mods I have are a Spoon intake,70mm TB with matching intake manifold. (problems existed with both the stock and modified IM), along with both the Berk Header & Test Pipe.
The car threw 2 CEL Codes: P0170 & P0172. I cleared the codes when I reset the ECU and they have not reappeared.
Any suggestions?

The only symptoms of MAP sensor issues I know of are hesitations at high rpm, as if the spark is cutting out intermittently. I've never heard of a MAP sensor leading to the issues you describe.
I don't know what those codes mean, but I would suggest a compression test - could be a bent valve?

The usual symptoms of a bad S2000 MAP sensor are:
-Car feels like it kicking in and out of VTEC when under wide open throttle (above 6k)
-sometimes VTEC will be non-existent
