I see him in is side mirror. He beats me off the line until VTEC. I stay with him until about 70. I need a supercharger.

Not ALL Corvettes will end up in the weeds... I have had my eye on a 2002 Z06 which will combine outrageous handling with real torque/power. Car&Driver measured .98 g's on the skidpad... plus 405hp + 400 ft/lbs of torque. 0-60 in 4.0 to 4.4... now THAT is power.

I don't know if I will trade in or keep both cars...

I have only driven a regular LS5-powered C5 and was impressed with the handling, power, and build... except they are everywhere and the Z06 is a hardtop only.

Shaner:

Does it come with fresh underpants. There are a few corvettes knocking about over here usually the older ones. I saw a new one recently... C5? I think the car looks fantastic particularly from the front.

ummm, are we forgetting honda's turbo-v8 CART engines? I think a turbo would bring this car to its full potential as a street legal mini-F1 racer/daily river
