Default Name this bolt- help solve a mystery

For the last week I’ve been enjoying my S2K with a fully rebuilt lower end and a refresh on the head. As I’m driving today, I something fall off my car and look to the side and see a bolt bouncing along side my car. Unless it was in the road and my tire picked it up, attached is what the bolt looks like. The car still drives fine. Maybe from the bell housing or motor mount?

It looks like it came from the car for sure. What's the thread diameter and length?

By the color on the head, it appears to be a bell housing bolt. Had your transmission out lately?

Had the exact same thing happen to me but luckily it was right when I started it while sitting in the garage. It is a bell housing bolt. Mine was the bolt at around 11 o'clock if you're looking towards the back of the engine. The bolt also holds a small bracket of some sort (can't remember what the bracket was for) so it's hard to tell that the bolt is missing because you can't see the bolt hole from underneath. You'll be able to grab the bracket and tell it's loose though. It's easy to get back in with the use of a couple of extensions. I found one other bolt on the bell housing loose.

My clutch was replaced by a Honda dealership before I owned it. Probably less than 5000 miles ago.

I’ll be checking all of the bell housing bolts.

Starter bolt for sure. On my '04, they were the only ones on the bellhousing with red on the heads.

Default It has 17mm head, 3” in length

Is this considered a short or long bolt? There’s 6 17mm bolts that go into the bell housing; 3 short and 3 long, in addition to the 3 14mm bolts

That looks like a short one. Here's a picture that might help.
