Name that bolt
Hi S family. I need a bit of assistance.Recently driving in a parking lot at about 5mph I hear a clunking noise asif something fell off the car. When I went to check I saw this bolt on the ground but can't figure out what is it for.
Somerecent work on the car was replace the rear knuckle, removed one of the axles, clutch master cylinder and slave, routine maintenance like diff fluid, oil, trans fluid.
The bolt seems to be a hex 6mm. Any ideas what it could be?
Thanks

looks too small to be a driveshaft bolt, but go ahead and check anyway, then check all the bolts on your oil pan, it's possible someone used this allen bolt as a replacement for a broken oem bolt.

That bolt is too small for prop shaft, which are 10mm diameter (prolly 14mm wrench size).

Thanks everyone, I'll check all of these. I don't however remember using an allen wrench on the axles. and I did have my clutch replaced about a year ago (not by me). I'm guessing I should probably avoid driving it until this is fixed huh.
