So shortly after I purchased my S2000, I found this bracket laying under the hood (well actually it was on the windshield cowl area). Doesn't appear to be a critical engine component, but I would like to know where it's supposed to be mounted? I searched and looked at numerous engine bay pictures on the internet trying to find this bracket, but most are kind of dark. For you "under the hood" experts, can you identify this bracket? The car came with the K&N intake installed, so I suspect the bracket is taken off for the aftermarket intake, but I'm not sure.

I'm not at my car right now, but that looks like the bracket holding the horn right by the intake. Totally from memory, could be something completely different.

That bracket supports the fuse box next to the battery.

Thank you! I went look around the fuse box, and saw the bolt hole and small hole where the notch on the bracket goes. I would never have thought to look there.
What is the purpose of this bracket though? Is the fuse box supposed to lean against it? I don't think there is anything else attaches to the bracket.

I guess just for support. I relocated my fuse box, that's the only reason I know what that bracket is...It now supports my catch can haha.
