MY06 Valve cover won't come off.
I have a MY06 and i'm having a hard time taking off the valve cover. removed everything listed in the manual and ive been rocking the valve cover back and forth with no help. I triple checked and all the necessary bolts are removed. Is it suppose to be this hard to remove the valve cover??

You did remove the sparkplugs right?
I read somewhere that hitting the cover side to side with a rubber mallet could loosen it, if you want to try that. When I removed mine i used a screw driver to pry it apart a little and then it just came right off. But if you do that you could chip the red paint a little

Sometimes you just need a can of man, i had the same problem. Because of the compression and the heat that sucker will be stuck on there, wiggle it back and forth. I stood on the passenger side and grabed it with both hands and wiggled it back and forth from the driver side to passenger side. Make sure you double check that all bolts are off.

Again, as previous stated, make sure all fasteners,

If it is rocking around, then the gasket against the head has already turned loose. The only things left are the plug tube seals. You will need to pull straight up with force and it will come off. Pulling it sideways will not lift it over the tubes and you will probably bend or dislodge the tubes from the head.

i used a plastic trim removal tool (its made of plastic too so it won't mar the aluminum head) and gently pried between the valve cover and head. easy does it and it will slowly come loose. Then lift up as noted above.
good luck.
