Maybe headgasket unlikely more like you need to get in there and check the valves to see if they are possibly bent and then if they are good get them adjusted to get compression back to safe levels. If the valves are bent i would just walk away there could be alot of internal damage done.
Don't do anymore more paper work with the guy bc that will default the sale and then between you guys you could work something out like him getting it checked and proper work done to the car by a honda tech before you buy the car fully. Pressure him sales people are at your mercy he jus wants a bigger commision check so thats why he gives you the run around.

You'll find another car...keep looking and don't be afraid to travel to buy the right one from an owner whose taken care of the car. This one has some serious problems.

Thanks for the advice, guys. The car's been dropped off, and I told the guy I'm not signing any more papers, or giving him any of my pay stubs, etc, until this thing gets figured out.
I'll keep everyone updated on what they find as the root cause of the lost compression. Seems weird the two inner cylinders are what's leaking.

I would pass on this car. I don't give a crap how rare it is. It's like your thinking with your penis. The girl is hot but she got something wrong with her. Maybe STD's. Your just asking for a long term problem.

Nothing good is to come of a car that has low compression and god only knows how long it has been like that. The valves could be shot or ready to go. Its just not worth the money the best cars come with time and patience.

Yeah, I totally agree with you guys.
I've left the dealer a message stating I do not intend to keep the s2k and I'd like to nullify the deal. Of course, they're not returning my calls. What a headache.

[QUOTE=kertong,Aug 23 2009, 02:28 PM] Oh yeah, interesting side story - when I opened the secret compartment, I found about 15 tabs of vicodin marked "2140 v", haha.
edit: oh nm, did a pill ID and it looks to be soma - muscle relaxant.
