To people that are having trouble with the snap ring: an alternative is to drill a small hole on the side onf the cynlider right under the snap ring so you have an access point.

That way you can take the pick and push up on the snap ring from underneath and it comes out right away.

well i stopped the clutch bleeder from bleeding and its full my now my car wont turn over... ahhh why is this happening. i did the bleeding correctly and a more then a few times making sure the resevoir was full at all times. my clutch seems loose at first too when i pump it but after pumping it a couple times it stiff where it should be... but i think when i let it rest a little and pump some more its light at first again and will get stiff after a couple pumps. can someone hep please... i need to get the car running again.
Please read the write up on bleeding the clutch.. You have to do it EXACTLY like it says to ensure you have all the air out of the lines. You need 2 people to do this properly unless you have a vacuum pump.

If your clutch is not properly pressurized then your car will not turn over. It's like trying to start the car without your foot on the clutch......nothing.

Bleed it properly and it should start fine....

i finally did it today =] feels great except the pedal doesnt feel as firm as it used to be. is that how it should feel? i do know that the do nothing zone of the pedal is larger meaning the pedal is lower.

Removed mine yesterday with the help of my friend(ASE certified master mechanic), took him like 15min to get it out and back on. He used some hooked screw drivers to get the snap ring out. (took him a few min, so don't feel bad). Then to get the delay valve out he covered one end with a rag and stuck a 150psi hose with rubber tip to make a seal and blasted it out. Put everything back together and on the car in 15 min. Then we bled the clutch, took it off the lift and no more crappy shifts.

Yes you can .....

Neither the VSA or DBW have anything to do with the Slave cylinder.
