marcucci - are you getting a hard CEL? Have you used a scanner to check for non-CEL codes? I think you have discombobulated the ECM from gross sensor mis-inputs, and it is just giving up and not letting the car start, perhaps as a safeguard. I still think either a wire is disconnected, misconnected, or a sensor(s) has gone south. Can you trace back from the things you disconnected, checking electrical continuity, and running any DIY tests (like resistance, operating voltages for sensor (example: .1- 1.5 VDC), etc? You will really need a shop manual, some careful reading, or a system that can access the diag link real time. (OBD 2 scanner). Good Luck!

Thanks for the feedback, guys...
- I have not checked fuses. It would be VERY odd for me to have coincidentally popped one, but I will go through all of them when I get back in town.
- The single click under the dash for the cruise is just the cruise relay disengaging. Shouldn't be related.
- I think the fuel pump relay is fine, at least, the relay itself should be good. I have never seen a failure this early in a Honda's life. Not that it couldn't be, but I am getting fuel (wet plugs) and I can hear the pump spool. If it is fuel related then I think it is because the fuel pump relay is dropping out due to a voltage problem (low battery). I've now cranked the car a lot and the battery is definitely weak. Next step will be to swap the battery with a good one and see if that helps. Jumping from another vehicle did not.
- The TDC sensors are installed, connected, and the corresponding cam teeth are installed and oriented correctly. I haven't checked the CKP sensor but it's on the list when I get back.
- Slows2k: I specifically do NOT remember reattaching that ground. We may have found the problem. I remember having a B!TCH of a time getting that ground and the corresponding wiring plate off... and I know I didn't put it back on. Thanks!
I checked for spark with an inductive light and couldn't get it to trigger... so I don't think there was spark. My guess is that if the ECM's ground is that 101 then it was probably not delivering spark OR relays were dropping out. Either way I didn't have the immobilizer flashing at me, but I know the ground was not connected.
Thanks guys... I should have it running shortly after I get back. I will post back to let you know for sure.

I can just about gaurantee that the car will run (as long as everything else is done right) as soon as you reattach the ground. G101 on the S is definitly a B*tch, right up against the firewall on the back of the cylinder head. Most other Honda's use the thermostat housing for G101.
