Default MY00-01 wheels differant then MY02??

I was looking @ HandA, and guess what.. The OEM wheels for the MY02 and differant, and cost more then the MY00-01. Anyone have a clue as to what is differant?

In fact they are different. Mechanically they are identical, but the MY2002 wheels have a slight bronze hue added.

Are you certain of this? I have an '02, and I purchased a set of '01 wheels for autocrossing. Over the past few months, I have mixed the wheels up a bit, so I am using a couple '01s and a couple '02s at the same time. I can't tell any difference.
Then you should be the best judge. Side by side they look the same?

I am actually using 3 '02 wheels, and 1 '01 wheel. I just washed the car yesterday, so I went out the parking lot to check it out. I honestly cannot tell if there is a difference in color.

Yes, I was thinking about buy a set of used wheels. I saw that HandA showed them at a $20. higher cost for the 02. I could not tell the differance, and if it is something so small you will never see it when they are on differant cars. Thanks

Hmmm, the dealer told me (admittedly, not the most reliable source, but this one knew his stuff) that the '02 wheels had a little more dish to them.

I think they are full of crap! If there was a difference in offsets, there would be a whole slew of differences in suspension, brakes, etc.

When I drive side-by-side with my friend who has a 2002, the bronze is actually very noticeable when the car is in motion.
