Default is my TPS gone bad?

something wrong with my car, it have hesitation and bogging when i step on the gas, can't get no power, I did some research on this forum and figure it may be my Throttle Body Sensor, so i did the voltage test on the sensor and it seem ok. I unplug the sensor and got the Cel code P0122, but then the car run fine, just eat up A LOT of gas while i'm driving. Plug the sensor back in and the car have hesitation again, so is my TPS gone bad? or is it something else?

I am having the same problem as well. We changed the O2 sensors as the idle was bad with the fuel being too rich code came out. After the sensors were replaced, those problems are gone, but now the car would not have power at times (it does not happen all the time).

Power would come back if I keep the gas in.

I've replaced the MAP sensor as well, but no help.

Please keep us posted. If that fixed your problem, I would do the same as well.

I am changing my cat to a straight pipe tonight as I was told my cat may have been damaged because the fuel was running too rich from bad injectors. I've replaced the injectors and some other sensors, but my gas mileage is still not like usual (1 tank runs me around 200 miles or less) and the car does not have power at times.

Will post back.

Well, straight pipe was installed and the power on my car is even worst. It now happens all the time from a stop.

Don't know if this could be your problem, but it is something to check out. Good luck

I was just wondering if you and the op had installed the MAP sensor holder. I believe that was a fix for the loose MAP sensor connections in earlier AP1's. If the socket the MAP sensor plugs into has worn contacts, it could cause problems. Anyway, I'll be interested in seeing how this works out.

Best of luck!
