Well...when this happened to me I was able to stuff the parts that fell out back in. I used the good latch as a pattern to see where the parts go. Just fiddled with the pieces until they were in the right place. It took some effort, but I was able to get it to unlock.

honestly... I cant see why you would not be able to remove the striker. The striker is two screws... keep the good side latched to take the tension off, remove the striker screws on the bad latch side and you should be good to go. With the striker off, you will have more angles of view and movement when dealing with the latch if the roof is part open.
The latch does not block any access to the striker.
As for the screws, honda would only sell the whole latch....it was EXPENSIVE. As I said, the screws amongst your computer tower are the correct length, width, and thread. If your seriously anal about your car (including areas that cant be seen) paint the screw heads black and your good to go.

Ok i just tried it and finally got the latch to unlock. Now everything is good. I found 1 set of screw and washer. Just finished looking for a extra screw but no luck on the washer.
Just tried the computer without the washer and it works fine. The screw sides was pretty wide so it all worked out. Thanks for all the help guys. =]

Glad to hear. Forgot to mention the stock components use some sort of lube to stop the screw from wearing down the plastic part of the latch. I just used a toothpick to grab some lube from a different area (that was over lubed from the factory) and lube the computer screws.
Good luck in the future.

Aww crap I didn't lube the screw...=/ I will check on it later when I get home. Thanks again. I just ordered the HT strikers from hardtopguy. Hopefully that will help with the wind noise.
