Default My s2k has been acting weird ever since my new clutch

Hey guys,i just got a new clutch, an exedy stage 1. Ever since i got it, the car bogs by itself. The rpms drop below one and the car shakes. It use to happen here and there but now it happens constintly, any idea of what my problem may be ?

Im not neccesarily saying it has anythingto do with the clutch, just thought it would be important to say it started happening as soon as i got the new car back with the clutch, id tell you if i knew what techron is :/ im a newb in some areas of the s.

Did you break your knock sensor while changing the clutch? That would cause it to do that and a lot of people break there knock sensor while putting in new clutches.

try to reset your ecu and drive it around 3k rpms and you will notice when you rev up the rpms drop too about a 100. this is just letting the ecu relearn and about 30 mins of driving the ecu will have a base map of how you drive and the rpms will be caught and not drop that low.

it's not a clutch problem if the car revs under 1k without driving it

Did you go lightened flywheel? It might feel "boggy" because there's less stored torque in the fw

i agree with this.

the same thing happens to me when i disconnect my battery. the ECU resets and re-learns its idle, timing, a/f ratio etc. during the first few miles of driving, my idle would drop the same way and recover. it's actually also died on me doing that.

just keep driving the car and it'll learn and make the proper adjustments.
