is my headlight burnt? toasted? gone?
well out of no where (ive had my 00 AP1 for about 4-5 months) my driver side headlgith started to get "dimmer" , then a few days later it started to go out once in awhile (id have to turn it off and back on to make it work), then now it would flicker for a sec, and not even turn on...
so is my headlight out? i heard these headlights are hard to go out? would i just need a new bulb & ballast or is it better off getting a whole new headlight? or even a set..
this sucks driving with one headlight at night.. ahah looks ghetto
(but my turn signal and high beam still work)
nobody has messed with any wires under the hood so i doubt its that?

DANGER: 25000 VOLTS ON THE OUPUT OF THE BALLAST ASSEMBLY, INSIDE THE CABLE, AND AT THE LOW BEAM BULB AND SOCKET. THIS CAN KILL YOU! DO NOT SCREW WITH HID PORTIONS OF THE HEADLIGHTS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
Follow the service manual instructions and assume risk of death if you don't know what you are doing. NEVER TURN ON THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH WHILE HID COMPONENTS ARE DISASSEMBLED UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

Switch the good bulb with the bad one. IF the bulb works fine on the good side then its probably your ballast. You don't want to waste good money on something you don't need.

HID parts for the S2000 are much more expensive than what you're used to seeing for halogen components. First, diagnise the problem, then only replce what's necessary. You can sometimes find used parts in the for sale section of this website. Obviously, you would not want to buy used bulbs .
