Default My first oil change

So my time is coming up relatively soon on doing my first oil change on the 2008 cr. My question is, would it be best to stick with the oem pcx filter and honda dino 10w30? Or should I get an amsoil filter (i really dont care how much a filter costs as long as its under 50) And is there a better oil than stock honda?

I stayed OEM (mobil standard oil & oem filter) every 3.5k, through 10k. Then went mobil1 with OEM filter. Both 10w-30.

Your car will run great for 200000 no problem using cheap oil as long as you watch your oil level and change it every 7500. I don't recommend that you do that but hey, "its a Honda"!

could someone explain to me why 0w-30 is better than 10w-30?

i always just get 10w-30 mobile1 natural oil because thats whats recommended by honda.

i could not find any info on 10w30 mobile 1 natural oil. the only conventional oil i could find for mobile is their high mileage oil. I have been reading bobistheoilguy however theres just so much information. Ive been reading for 3 days. So i guess my new question is what is the "best" regarded natural oil. I know there are certain cituations that better lend themselves to certain oils/filters tho.

thinner oil is used on colder climates, it will never be cold enough for me to need to use 0w-30 in california.
