Default my engine feels very sluggish recently

my engine feels very sluggish recently, even my gf can feel the lost in power...
  1. The lost in power cause me very easy to stalk while parking
  2. too low of a rpm when A/C is on during traffic stops and the engine will shake
  3. The rpm climbs much slower than before when doing wot highway runs
Please advice in how I should solve this problem! Thanks

Also going to agree with the heat. The other day on the way to work (1pm) my car felt slow, got off that night and it felt super fast lol

The heat will do this but you shouldn't be shaking at idle.

Check the following:
Clean throttle body area (my was pretty dirty, this raised my idle and cured the shakes)
Plugs
Air intake filter
Valve Adjustment

Good Luck.

Is cleaning the throttle body an easy DIY job?

Yes sir, 5 minute job, buy some carb or brake cleaner. Easier if your not DBW.

I just loosened the intake hose off and moved it to the side.

My car is DBW so I had to use something to hold it open, don't get something stuck back there.

Clean the path of the air flow really well. Raised my idle by 200 rpm.

I have done everything here except the Valve adjustments, may be I will do that next.

Yea may be its the heat as well but still, that much difference?

Is there ECU reset for the idle adjustments?
