My differential is gone, help please
Hey everybody, kind of new here and hoping you guys can help me out. Ill save you the read and get you the basics. Car is an AP1 and has 92k on it. For a while I have been hearing this weird rotating sound as I decelerate to about 10mph and below. I figured it was a bearing or something with the differential but never got to it yet as there was other maintenance to do.
So last night I was on my way to my buddies to do my brakes, and the sound I experienced when slowing down amplified by 10 times, at speed and under acceleration its extremely loud. It sounds EXACTLY like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nzOPfRznJw)
So... am I f@#ked? Should I start looking for a new differential or is there someway to rebuild it and/or reinforce it? Any information/help is appreciated, and sorry if the thread has been posted before, im searching them all currently but wanted to ask anyway.
Thanks in advance

I agree if it's been a long time since a trans fluid and different fluid change it'll have a slight sound.but your diff could very well be hosed by now and yes puddymod is the freaking man when it comes to these things.send him a diff and he will send you back a package full of awesome.
