Just make sure you are using atleast 1/2inch drive so that there is no "Flex" in your breaker setup and soak that mother over night in penetrating fluid... every little bit will help ya.

Hondas may be known for it but this is the only honda that you cannot get an impact gun on it due to room... unless you want to take your rad and AC condenser out.
We bent the 1/2 inch bar we were using.

thats wierd. i sprayed some WD-40. then got a another person to help me remove it. he used a 3 ft cheater pipe to hold the crankshaft and i used a 5ft cheater pipe. thing came off after like 4 pulls. took me less that 15 minutes. same thing to put it back on.
Your car is a lot newer than a lot of ours/mine. I'm at 72k on an 01 and I'm 100% sure the crank pulley has never been pulled.

PB blaster is your friend. it soaks into the metal much better than WD-40.

have you tried jerking the bar rather than exerting even pressure?

We used PB Blaster & WD40.

Jerking, pushing, cursing...nothing worked.

^ stronger words perhaps???

i'd say pull harder, but it looks as though that wouldn't be the issue as you are not what i would call a little person...

What you do, is spray so WD-40 and try tighten it little bit to loosen it up a bit and then try pushing it. I wouldn't pull on a extension bar. To bad you can't turn it vertical and then just hang on the bar with your friends.

i had the exact same situation with my h22a motor.

after days of trying everything, this is how i ended up getting it:

i put on the solid (not ratcheting) short 2ft 1/2" drive breaker in a horizontal position, parralel with the ground.

held it in place carefully with left hand.

held huge maybe 20+lb brick in my right hand, smashed down on the breaker bar as hard as i can with brick.

TADA!

the motor was out of the car though...
