tie the cheater bar to a door knob and slam the door. It works on teeth. So it has to be the solution.

which direction does our engine rotate? In all the other cars I've touched the crank pulley on I just stick my wrench on the end, turn the crank or wrench until its braced up against something sturdy, and then bump the starter real fast (you will hear the bolt pop loose, and you're not trying to start the engine) to spin the crank pulley bolt out. Works every time.
+1. By far the easiest way to remove any Honda crank pulley.

if you need to pull the radiator to get a gun on it.

it takes what ten minutes to pull our radiator and then you have more room the wholr time you're in there

I had a 6ft length of sidchrome extendion bars that I had flexed to the fender... I couldn't pull it any further.... When we pulled the 3 or so extention bars apart, we realised we actually bent a sidchrome extension bar......

Just make sure you are using atleast 1/2inch drive so that there is no "Flex" in your breaker setup and soak that mother over night in penetrating fluid... every little bit will help ya.

Hondas may be known for it but this is the only honda that you cannot get an impact gun on it due to room... unless you want to take your rad and AC condenser out.

pop the mounts out and see if u can jack the engine up enough to get a 1/2 gun in there. dont use heat. youll burn the rubber out of the harmonic ballancer. be careful if ur not using impact you run the risk of braking the bolt. then ur pulling the crank. another trick which ive done before depending on rotation is use the starter's impact to brake the bolt loose. its dangerous be carful. one little clack at a time.

thats wierd. i sprayed some WD-40. then got a another person to help me remove it. he used a 3 ft cheater pipe to hold the crankshaft and i used a 5ft cheater pipe. thing came off after like 4 pulls. took me less that 15 minutes. same thing to put it back on.
