Is my clutch going out? UPDATE!
So my '00 AP1 has 53K miles on it and it seems its getting slightly more and more difficult to shift into certain gears over time. Somtimes, its 1st, 2nd and reverse, and other days and may be other gears. Plus, my clutch pedal can go half way down very loosely and not engage. My clutch pedal feels looser than normal. I dont drive my car that hard and drive it on weekends mainly. So may I need a new clutch already? What should I check/replace?

You can do it yourself if you're a bit handy:

I suppose you could go to your Honda dealer and keep your fingers crossed.

You should really be able to tell by looking at the clutch if it's going or not. But yeah I had the same problem with my 02' WRX when it had 60,000 miles on it...turned out the clutch had 35% life left and I just needed fluid.

I have the same problem. Was told it might be the fluid.
Changed it about 3 months ago. When I changed it, it was fairly clear. But I changed it anyways.
The pedal is pretty damn stiff, but it's not slipping at all.
Could it be that time again? (not again.. but it sounds better that way ) Time to set aside my block build up for a new clutch?
Ideas?

Well, here's the update. My clutch hydraulic cylinder is leaking air/oil, causing my clutch pedal to be way too loose and hard to engage for me to shift at times. Hopefully my extended warranty will cover it. If not, then it will cost me roughly $400 from my regular mechanic, not dealership.
