My car's running like a 2
I took my car out to show a friend this afternoon and the engine cuts out at full throttle. WTF? It drives fine at lower RPM's but under 3/4 to full throttle it starts missing and bogging bad at 5000 to 5500 rpm's. The oil level is perfect and it will not even reach VTEC speeds. I'm thinking a clogged injector or some kind of fuel starvation but I'm not sure.
Any ideas? I've already made an appointment to take the car in but thought someone here might have seen this problem in the past.
Many thanks.

CG,
I had the same problem after having driven 15-20 miles. I apparently realized that I hadn't VTEC'd on this drive and decided to "step on it". When I hit 7k, it felt like a hitting the rev limiter when the engine isn't warm. It was obviously warm, but the car didn't want to go past 7k RPM. I repeated this a few more times on the way to work.
After work, I then had the bogging/hesitation problem all the way to the dealership. I parked the car, talked to the Service Advisorr, and gave the technician a test drive. Of course, all the problems disappeared. They took my word for it and replaced the MAP sensor free of charge after speaking to the right Service Manager.
That was the only time that I hit the rev-limiter "wall" when the engine was warm, but it hasn't happened since. I hope that the replacement MAP sensor fixes your problem.
