Replace the battery. 95% of all problems are solved by the most obvious solution. If you replace the battery and 3 days later the car won't start, replace the alternator.

Since the original poster has indicated that the car does the same thing when being boosted from another car, simply replacing the battery (or the alternator for that matter) is a futile exercise. The problem lies elsewhere. If he has followed some of the hints given so far, he should know what it is by now.

its a completely dead battery. You will most likely have to leave it hooked up to a charger or another car for a minimum of 30 minutes. The car will probably start after that, however I wouldnt count on the battery being able to start the car again after that. I think this has happened to me in all 3 of my cars.
