Default My car is whistling!

This morning when I was driving my car would whistle at 6-7k RPM. This is the first time I have heard the noise and it sounds exactly like when someone wets their finger and runs it along the edge of a wine glass. Anything to worry about?

My car does something like this but only while driving along and barely giving gas. This is driving me crazy. Does yours sound something like this wheer-wheer-wheer....sorry that is the oinly way I can describe it over the internet.

Most likely it's the intake whistle TougeFreak, it's very subtle and is heard at low revs, it's completely normal...

Mine is at high revs...and only at 6-7k...well at least that's the only time I hear it. The engine and exhaust noise might overtake the whistling sound any higher than that. It's not anything annoying, I just want to make sure it's not indicative of anything wrong.

You may have a ringing shifter:

Or a loose heat shield.

This is really off topic, but is it just me, or do the hottest women drive Jettas?
