Default my car is stuck!

i just got a new tranny and clutch change, previous tranny blown, whole 2nd gear was gone!
yesterday while i was driving, i heard some wierd noises again. i did not step on it hard or anything because i have no vtec...when i got my tranny done, they broke my knock sensor! so after i drove home i told my mechanic friend to look at it for me. we took the car for a spin aroudn my townhouse complex and the car got stuck! we were in 2nd gear going 20 sth and then something locked up in the rear. we got out the car and then we tried to push the car. then the car gets locked up again. so basically we are pushing forward and backward the car and the car stays in the same place. its like pushing forward 1 meter and then the car gets locked up. then push backwards 1 meter and the car locks up again.
before that happened there was noise coming from the middle/rear- bottom of the car. it sounded like metal hitting metal. when ever the car was rolling, there was sound....
anyone tried this before?
i jsut spent 2k changing the tranny and clutch i dun wana pay for more!

You have to jack the car up and pull the axles. Put the car in gear and see how the diff is functioning. You can also check the axles for play when the car is on the ground. The inner cv's normally break first btw.

You have to jack the car up and pull the axles.
If you mean : jack up the rear of the car, remove the wheel, loosen ABS sensor wire brackets, undo axle nut, pop the lower ball joint, undo bolts at inner cv joint where it connects to the diff output flange, then pull out hub so you can then remove the complete axle, put the ball joint back and tighten and put the wheel back.. you're right.
(and I've most likely forgotten something)

IMO the S2000 doesn't have axles you pull out that simple.

To the OP:
It doesn't sound good
Any warranty on the tranny job?

Yeah, that is what I meant. I've done it several times, and it's really not that big of a job.

any pictures or anything? i dont think i'll be able to do all that myself...i mean...the most extreme thing iv done to my car is do my own exhuast change! maybe intake and change the pcv valves...brake pad too...but nothing else!
is this the rear diff? or the axles?! its not the tranny right?

sounds like a diff. When my diff(s) blew, similar problem occured. Car locks up and moves a foot fwd or bckwrds. Then again, i was dropping the clutch pretty hard. So it could be your tranny.

Wow, this is starting to look like a room full of women living together, they eventually begin to menstrate together ahhaha. My 2nd gear was striped to death just yesterday. Ironic

I think it's either your differential or transmission. Since the transmission is new to your car, I'm going to guess that it is the transmission. Not good news I know and remember it is only a guess. Best of luck.
BTW- what did your mech say during the test drive?

This "one meter forward - one meter backwards" sounds like the diff.

Drain the diff oil (brake pads is more work ) , if you see big pieces of metal coming out or stuck on the magnetic drain plug you have your answer.

If you have room to work on your car, completely remove the propshaft.
IOW from the transmission and diff.
Also relatively easy (use the proper allen-key tools! and put markers on the flanges.)
Start the engine and select a gear.
If there are no noises from the transmission you know thats still ok.
Then select all gears to confirm.

Succes.

P.S. Stripping 2nd gear doesn't happen driving like a granny.
The diff takes a beating under those circumstances too.
Time to go to a Comptech & 4.56's?
