It sounds really loud, like a tractor. Runs like ass too, when I'm in 1, 2, 3rd gear and rev to 4-5K, it sounds like it's going to blow up! I currently have 66k miles...never abused my car.

Time for a new engine if you keep driving it like that.

Take it in to the dealer ASAP before you float a valve.

Mechanical over-rev in the past or did you buy a used car?

That is some serious valvetrain noise.
I say go find a qualified mechanic because something is WAY out of whack.

Well this sucks...I took it to HondaWorld Westminster and they said there were no problems!!!

They hooked it up to the diagnostics machines and there were no error codes. Technician didn't think anything else was out of the ordinary.

Dohhhhh....it's a weird feeling when the dealership says nothing is wrong with your car, but you really think there is.

Can't listen to it till I get home...but I wonder if it might be the timing chain tensioner (TCT)...many describe the the TCT noise like a desiel or tractor.

well i haven't listened to the video yet...just based on the earlier comments that there was obviously an issue.

i just listened to it.

personally, it just sounds like really loose valves.

get a valve adjustment.

2nd...it could be the TCT.

when I mis-shifted my old integra it sounded like the chitty-chitty bang-bang car lol. One of the adjustment nuts was 3 turns OFF the rocker. Fixed that and she was cherry, even ran 10psi through it years later never hurt it
