My car died at the light...
After an hour drive back home from Seattle. I was only one stop light away from my friends house when all of a sudden I tried to take off normal on first gear when something sounded like a hard snap and my car died. I tried to start it back up but did not fired up. Me and my friend pushed it out of the street and in front of his house. We looked for leaks, burning smells, everything. No low oil, no CEL, nothing popped up on my gauges. Tried to start the car again, bogged at first, then started up as usual. I tryed to reverse, worked fine. First gear, fine. I told my friend to follow me home which was 5 mins away from his house. Everything worked fine like it always was. I soo lost at what happened if anybody knows anything about this let me know...I have a 2000 model if that makes any difference. Should I run a diagnostics with a Honda dealership?

It's possible that the crank pulley can come loose and result in no start. The key which drives the timing chain will come out and it won't spin with the engine.

Diagnostics won't show nothing. Don't throw your money out.
It's really hard to diagnose such a problem over the internet. Where did the sound come from? front? rear?
My friend had the throwout (release) bearing go once, replaced it, all's fine.
check your clutch, maybe drain fluid, look for shavings.
