I may have to start a thread in Technical on this whole thing. In this case, no damage should have happened.

Thanks again for coming out to check out the car Bill - hopefully she'll be back on the road soon... new valves and all. BTW, tried to start the car this morning like we said but no go...

Yes. But I would not recommend it. Free reving is not good for any engine
