Default Multiple CEL codes/Bent Valve?

hey guys, i need some help. i bought my 02 s2k used about 6 months back. i've put about 3000 miles on the car since i bought it. just last weekend, my CEL light came on. went to autozone and pulled the codes and here's what came back:

p1456
p1395
p0303
p0300
p0301

so i took it to the honda dealer to see if they could help me out. 8 hours later they tell me that i have a bent valve in the 4th cylinder and that its gonna cost me like 1800$ to fix it. when i asked him what normally causes bent valves he said usually its over revving, which i have never done (ha, i think i've hit 7k RPM maybe like 1-2 times!). but he also said it could be due to misshifting. i have done that a couple times too, but usually its like going from 5 to 4th instead of 6th.

some more history on the car. it is completely stock; the person i bought it from kept the car in immaculate condition, so i dont' think it was anything she did. about a week prior to getting the CEL, i took it for an oil change at jiffy lube (i know, that's my first mistake but i'm not going there again). they tried to get me to replace my PCV valve so they took it out to show me how it was clogged. when i refused they put it back it but forget to connect the hose to the PCV valve and drove it out of the bay, at which point he realized something was wrong, opened the hood and connected the hose to the valve.

have any of you had any experience with a bent valve and/or shady honda dealers trying to make a quick buck because they see you pull up with a sportscar? any help is greatly appreciated since i don't want to spend close to $2k. thanks!

engine making any clicking noise, noise change with revs, noticable oil smoke from exhaust?

p1456 - (EVAP control system leakage (fuel tank system) could be a loose fuel cap - honda issued a TSB on this one a while back...

p1395 - ?
p0303 - cyl #3 misfire
p0300 - Random misfire
p0301 - cyl #1 misfire

I am wondering if your engine can stay idle or shaking?
Also, assuming the 4th valve is bent, can you still revive the engine to approximately 7k rpm?

It's hard to say. Personally, I don't generally trust dealers unless I personally know the mechanic. I can't tell you what your mechanic did to determine that the valve was bent. I would get a recommendation from your regional s2ki forum for a mechanic in your area. If you have a bent valve a leak down test should show that.

my engine can stay idle without shaking. if the CEL wasn't on, i would never have noticed a problem. im not sure if it will still go to 7k because i didn't try it and the car is at the dealer right now. but they did a compression test which was abnormal. the first 3 cylinders were okay, but the 4th was significantly lower, indicating a bent valve is what they said.

have them to redo the leak down test and ask to be present - also ask to the see the gauge readings...

A leak down test is needed...a compression test can't easily determine between bad rings or valve leak.
