Spoon targets the high end power gain while Mugen built theirs to improve the mid range

From what I've read, the Toda is supposed to have gains throughout, unlike the Mugen or Spoon.

Hmmm. All the hype over TOda and Amuse header amazes me. One guy with SC posts that the Toda header gained him 20 whp and everyone is all over it. Here is a quote from a guy at the Mugen camp. Obviously he is biassed but lemme share

"The Mugen header is still the best header overall for the S2000. The Toda
and Amuse headers are all hype and no substance...

No redesign is in the works as all the R&D has been completed long ago and
the final design cannot be improved on. The folks that make the Toda header
do not even have a dyno. So that pretty much sums that up."

wow, i have just found a header in japan where on the dyno, you are looking at 4HP gain on the top part of the power band, and about 3HP on the bottom part of the band. Is this the type of gain you would see from a mugen?

the price on this header is sub $1000, and its stainless.

hmmmmm.....a header with bottom and top gains. interesting.
