Mugen Mods, How Much Power Did I Gain ?

I believe the Mugen ECU and header come in closer to $2500 total.
You should see gains of as much as 10 lbs-ft and 10 hp in the midrange with a peak gain somewhere in the 5-8 hp range based upon previous testing. Overall response should be improved, especially at low rpm.
I just took the Mugen header off my car recently and I lost a good 5-7 lbs-ft across the board in the midrange (3k-7k).

Thanks everyone for their opinions, you've all been a great help.. I don't mind reading so called "offensive" posts about what I wanted to learn in the first place as long as they are true and based on facts...
I still wanna learn how long does it take the ECU to adapt ? Can I still experience improvements on power after 3 days ?
Ultimate Lurker - It seems you had dynoed and tested the ECU so I should ask you If there are any other mods I can get without getting inside the Engine block ?
By the way I can't know anything about the figures on paper but, my car acts as It gained more than 5-6 hp even 10 but, that's just me...

I just put on a Toda header (at great expense) and you know what? I can't really say that it did a damn thing. It sure doesn't feel like it and if someone were to come out and tell me what a doofus I was (and I never called anyone a doofus in this thread), I would NOT take any offense at it because I still look back at it and I do this and this at my buying decision. Noone should have to justify their money spent. If it was a lot and others wouldn't do it, so what? We are all entitled to our opinions and should it be the case (and I'm not saying it is in this case), we are also entitled to make mistakes.

I gotta go with Dave on this one - unless I made a living racing, where every HP counts, I cannot see the benefit in cost vs. $'s, nor the risk of a warrateed car having claims denied (if still covered).
Of course, I am spoiled. On my Cobra, I spent $1200, and went from 374 rwhp to 438 rwhp, and a 80 lb increase in torque at low rpm. That was notcieable, and well worth it to me.
You pays your money, you takes your choice.
