Red face Mugen Header Fitment

Many people say the mugen header is interchangable between the f20 and f22 but is this true?

I have looked on kings page and do know there are two headers one for 2000-2003 and another for 2004-up. Which one can be interchanged? That is if either actually can?

thanks in advance

Yes they can be interchanged (I dont know what the result would be HP wise, I have never seen a dyno of it). I have the 2.2L header and can put it on an AP1 or I can get an older Mugen header (AP1) and put it on my car.

per Kings site the AP1 version was more for weight reduction and had little to no HP gain. while the 2.2L version is supposed to make 10HP on the top end and some midrange power.

From using the 2.2L header I am pretty happy with it. I dont regret the purchase at all
