Default Mugen exhaust weld

Not too long ago i bottomed out on these stupid ass water pipes that are all over my town as they redo something underground. Regardless i notices a small leak from my exhaust after that. Dropped the exhaust today to notice that the hanger thats attached to the resonator was ripped right off. And also that theres cracks on the welds on boths sides of the resonator. I was just curious if anyone knows if the entire exhaust is titanium including the resonator? Also would any regular place be able to weld it or would they need to have a different type of welding material? Ill post pics soon. Thanks

So far as I can tell only the outside body and tip are ti, the rest is conventional construction.

Is there any way to tell the difference between the two metals? And if the resonator is SS and the pipes are ti, what kind of weld is used to hold them together?

By weight, Titanium is a very light material when it comes to exhaust systems, Mine weights 8.5lbs

Go to your local muffler shop, they will know as soon as they see it
