Mugen ECU on a everyday car
Thinking about fitting a Mugen ECU to My S, are there any implications on useing one on a everyday car ? I do about 80 miles a day. And as you can see i'm in the UK so most days its cold and wet .
Oh this will be with the Mugen CAI and exhaust and a Header Mugen, spoon or toda.

What octane gas do you run there? I run 93 here and have no problems. If you can get 93, you should be fine, especially considering you are in a colder environment.
If you do a search you'll find out quite a bit about the Mugen ECU.

I've been using the Mugen ECU for over a year on my car daily driven (often in stop-n-go traffic) using 92 octane (max. available at pump except for racing gas) and haven't had any problems......yet. I did take the precaution of installing the cooling mods from Mugen as well as the Hondata gasket.
I didn't notice a drop in mileage, though I don't log numbers anyway. I thought it would actually help the fuel economy since it leans out the mixture compared to the stock ECU
