Are these necessary(thermostat, radiator cap & fan switch) if you have a MUGEN ECU? I don't plan to race my car on tracks....
please give me some advice.

YES! The thing that I am wondering is that if it is stongly recommended to purchase the cooling parts and you spend over $1k for an ecu, why do you not spend an extra $150 just to be safe? The worst thing that is going to happen will be that you will eliminate some of the heat soak issue. But, that is just my .02

I don't have a Mugen ECU (top octane fuel here in Southern California is 91), but have the Mugen cooling mods and the Hondata intake gasket. This is best money I've spent on the car. It always runs strong, even after a long day of driving in the hot desert heat.

You don't need the Mugen ECU to run these mods.

ecu + cooling mods are great for hot and humid climates like Texas to get rid of heat soak. I'm not familiar with the climate in Italy, so the benefits may not be as great if you're in a cooler environment.
