so: If the car falls on me by ME kicking it, it wouldve fell on you by you using a BFpipe.

Also, kicking works well cuz its a 'shock' - bolts break loose due to shock.

Whenever I put my car on jackstands, I shake the hell out of the car as strong as I can before I go under it.
dude, do what you want. personally i think thats hack stuff. not too mention, your sudden shock kick = higher force being applied then consistent pulling to break it loose.

and i dont have the chance of missing the bolt and kicking something else under the car.

either learn the correct way to do it or enjoy being a hack.

lol, seriously. Higher force being applied? I dont think so: Once the bolt breaks free, the force = 0. Same with your method. The bolt 'breaks' and the force is 0. By kicking I dont mean winding up and letting loose. I mean resting your foot on the wrench...and pushing off with your leg muscles. I fail to see how that would make you miss.

Being a "Hack" eh? I was trying to point out your mistaken ideas and name calling ensues. great.

Isn't the transmission fill bolt a 3/8" (probably actually 10mm) square hole that you put the ratchet drive in? I don't see how a box wrench will work on it.

Hm. I may have meant drain bolt. Eithier way, I had to kick them both. One with the rachet + small extension, and the other with a box wrench. I also had to do that for the diff bolt.

The fill bolt is 17mm, the drain bolt takes a 3/8ths ratchet head. I had no problem with the drain bolt.

If you can't kick any part of your car with it on jackstands you shouldn't be under it. No way in hell it's coming off on properly placed stands, and chocks. You should have your wheels under the frame rails too just in case. Pulling a tranny puts way more force on the car than that tiny bolt will.

UMM, has anyone just tried using two wrenches? you grab the right size and the one right before it, and lock it into the box side with the open side and bam, you have twice as long wrench with nasty leverage. kick rofl, yeah im gonna kick something attached to the car as it balances on jack stands

dude awesome!! i never knew that!!! dam im going to use this move now!!

Be careful if you do. It slips a lot, and can shatter a wrench.

pop it open with an impact wrench on low power, levelage on stuck bolt needs a quick jab, using breaker bar could stripe it right off
