MT Fill Bolt
I think my problem is not having the car on a lift but rather on jack stands which doesn't allow for any leverage. I've beat the end of a wrench with a rubber hammer but to no avail. I soaked the bolt with WD 40 last night and I'm going to try again later today. If it still refuses to budge, I'm going to Lowe's and get a length of pipe and use as an extension for the ratchet handel.
Question- Has anyone else had this problem and if so, what was your solution?

I used a box wrench, made sure it was really on the bolt, and gave the wrench a light tap with my foot (kick) under the car - popped it right off without rounding. -t

Update- I did get the bolt off using 1/2" drive with a 3/8' step down on a breaker bar. Anyone who is doing this with jack stands should go ahead and get these pieces it might save you a trip. Also using small funnel and half inch heater hose routed to the engine compartment. Forget the hand pump. Give it away or throw it away or find some other use for it.

UMM, has anyone just tried using two wrenches? you grab the right size and the one right before it, and lock it into the box side with the open side and bam, you have twice as long wrench with nasty leverage. kick rofl, yeah im gonna kick something attached to the car as it balances on jack stands

Serious? You aren't going to kick a 3000lb car off of four jack stands,
You couldn't do this if you were standing in front of the car and gave a full force kick to the bumper.

^In the end, the force seen aby the bolt eithier KICKING or using LEVERAGE is the SAME. (youre not kicking the car...and the only thing attached to the car is the BOLT)
so: If the car falls on me by ME kicking it, it wouldve fell on you by you using a BFpipe.
Also, kicking works well cuz its a 'shock' - bolts break loose due to shock.
Whenever I put my car on jackstands, I shake the hell out of the car as strong as I can before I go under it.
