MSD DIS ignition kit?
Does anyone have an ignition kit on their car? If you do was it worth it? I have the Stage 6 turbo kit and thought this MSD kit might help. I have to change spark plugs evey 6-7 thousand miles and I hate doing that.

You are trying to put a band-aid on the problem. I am running IK27 spark plugs on my car, which are 2 steps colder than the stock equivalent and I have no problems with spark plugs. (I better not, they are like $45 a set!) You need to identify the problem areas where your car is running rich and lean it out more. A stronger ignition system will blow through it, but it is an expensive and invasive bandaid for something that you should correct anyways.
Just because your turbocharged doesn't mean you have to live with fouled plugs.
If you'd like more information you can contact me privately. I am running an aftermarket ignition system because at high boost levels the stock coils are not powerful enough. When I switched to an aftermarket system, the consistancy of the car was unbelievable. I made about 9 dyno runs at 23 psi boost back to back (about a minute in between) and the power curves (numbers were off due to tire slippage) were identical.
What engine management are you using? If you have a replacement ECU, then changes are you are fouling the plugs during cold startup.

I only got shocked once when my painter poured water all over the engine and caused the coils to arch. When I was unbolting them it shocked me up both arms just with the ignition on (car off.)

I have an appreciation for high voltage. I've built many of my own designed tube amplifiers and electrostatic loudspeakers. But my initiation into electricity happend when I was about six years old and was curious as to what electricity felt like. I cut off a lanp cord and held the bare wires while plugging into the outlet. It was a quick learning experience.
