Hey guys when I was driving home tonight my motor started making this REALLY loud ticking/clicking noise. For about a couple of months now I would hear it ticking at idel every once in awhile but now its really bad. I'm thinking it might be really bad lifter tick but i'm not for sure. I've heard that the stock ap1 retainers are bad so I'm not sure if they are related or not. Heres a video I just took of the sound.

Sounds like a rod knocking...

as said above sounds like a bad bearing. Did you run it low on oil or anything ??

See thats the odd thing about it. The oil is full and is still clean.

rod knocking from spun rod bearing... over rev'ed due to mis-shift or exessive/repeated high rev's on a high milage motor

or an oil related issue as others noted...
