Yeah but we could still blame mobil 1 I like honda too much to believe it's all their fault

Nothing to do with Mobile 1, they actually make the best oil for our car besides Amsoil. IMHO.

really? people don't change the oil filter with every oil change? why would anyone who loves there car do that? its $10-$13 for an oem one, and honda put it in probably the easiest place possible for maintenance. even if someone can prove that its unnecessary maintenance, why would you not?

Depends on how often you change your oil. More often oil change = less likely to change filter.
